How is it that Dylan goes back to school and I get homework from his teacher before he does?? Hmm… Well, Dylan was blessed with yet another great teacher this year and she asked that the parents write to her about their children so that she could get to know them better. Well, below is part of my first homework assignment for Dylan’s 2nd grade class. I love my little man!

Dylan is a dynamic little guy. He loves to go fishing, camping and going to the beach. He is a huge Star Wars fan and loves to absorb himself in the Star Wars movies or video games whenever possible. He is an amazing big brother to his little sister, Faith. Dylan is her biggest fan and is the first one to tell Faith’s therapists of her progress. Faith is also one of the few reasons Dylan will read books. Although he is not a fan of reading, he will sit down and read to Faith. Dylan is thoughtful, considerate, and a positive child.
We encourage Dylan to try new things to teach him he can do anything if he tries. He is not a risk taker. Dylan will observe others and then decide if he wants to be a part of the action or not. Once he has taken a stand on what he wants, he is secure enough not to give in to peer pressure.
Dylan is active in Cub Scouts and is thankful that his buddies are right along with him. With his buddies at his side he can be mischievous and silly. He is a good listener and loves order. He enjoys knowing the agenda for the day, but is flexible when things change. He can be a quiet little guy, but don’t let that fool you; he can be wild with the best of them.
